Subject: Encountered problems with the manufacturing of the designs
Content:
In the process of making the top on the right, I encountered many problems with the sizing. The arms were too tight, and it was too cropped. The top being too cropped was a big problem because the event I was going to attend had the higher age group, which meant that the designs had to be made accordingly. At the drawing stage I drew very creative pieces however I knew that I had to make them appealing to a larger crowd, therefore I made some adjustments on the lengths of the tops. In order to fix this I referred back to
my investigation stage, and my research about size measurements. I indicated a new length for the tops which the tailor would use in order to make the collections more appropriate for the shopping event. Therefore, the tops had to be remade in time for the event.

Another problem I encountered was the fit of the bodysuit. As seen on the image to the left their was excess fabric on the chest, which made the bodysuit look loose and baggy. In contrast to the previous conflict, we weren't able to remake the whole design because we did not have enough time or fabric. In order to solve this problem we brainstormed various ideas, however none of them were able to solve the issue completely. Eventually, I came to the point of thinking about eliminating this design and not selling it in the event, because if I did it would lower the overall quality of my collection. Luckily I had the idea to contact another tailor that I know very well, and is very talented. I met with him and asked him for advice. I was very fortunate as he told me that he could fix it, by cutting the fabric on the neck, attaching a zipper, and hiding the extra fabric in the zipper. This solution was successful, and the bodysuit fit very well.
Below are images showing my communication with the tailor on by message (although the creation of the solutions for these problems were figured when we met in person):
